The Merchants are a collective of three Wirralians and a Mexican formed in 2019. Taking Influence from; Bob Dylan / Led Zeppelin / Kings of Leon / The Black Keys and everything in between.

The quartet was properly introduced to the local scene in 2019, when supporting The Mysterines on their Liverpool headline gig along with Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard. 2020 saw the band release 3 singles, be crowned champions of “Uncovered 2020” by Jorvik Radio show “Halfway 2 Nowhere” and selected to play the M&S Arena for LDM Festival 2020 where they shared the stage with the likes of ZUZU, Natalie M’Cool and The Peach Fuzz.

In 2021 the band sold out their hometown gig in Liverpool and released 2 more singles. The band is in plans of releasing a long awaited debut EP.
