Hired throughout the UK and internationally for Weddings, Corporate Events, Festivals, Parties, Award Ceremonies and Charity Balls our list of clients include the BBC (Sports Personality of the Year after show party), Blenheim Palace, Sir Richard Branson, The Dorchester Hotel W1, The Design Museum and The Hurlingham Club SW6 to name but a few!
Alongside headlining with The Blunter Brothers ‘Funk, Soul & Motown Revue’ the band has supported many major acts including Edwin Starr, Sister Sledge, Ruby Turner, Rufus Thomas, Geno Washington as well as collaborating with members of George Clinton’s Parliament/Funkadelic and gigging with James Brown’s MD and Tenor Sax man Mr Pee Wee Ellis.
The players in our band focus on performing for the Blunter Brothers but as proof of their outstanding talent , they have worked with, amongst others, Pee Wee Ellis, Sir Elton John, Sir Cliff Richard, Wham, Joan Armatrading, Mica Paris, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, Tears For Fears, Heather Small (M People) and Macy Gray!
The Blunter Brothers recorded a track called 'Funky Grease Piece' with Cordell "Boogie" Mosson, an original member of George Clinton's Parliament-Funkadelic.

Formed in October 1988. Rehearsed solidly for 6 months. First gig - 5th May 1989 Surrey Hills Hotel Dorking.
Richard Branson’s house party 1995 (20,000 people over 2 weekends).
BBC sports personality of the year after show party in London 2005
BBC sports personality of the year after show party in London 2006 (Only band to be asked back for a second year).
Hammersmith Apollo Stephen K Amos 2010 (The band was headhunted to play the Hammersmith Apollo for comedian Stephen K Amos’ nationwide ‘Feel Good Factor’ tour).
Algeria 2012 (band invited to play at El Gassi and RedMed Oil installations for Christmas celebrations in the Sahara desert).
Pee Wee Ellis 2014 (The Blunter Brothers played with Pee Wee Ellis June 2014 as part of their 25th year celebrations).

The idea to form the Blunter Brothers happened on the evening of Tuesday 12th April 1988 after 2 of the original members of the band were returning home from a Frank Zappa concert at the Deutschlandhalle venue in Berlin.
