Tennessee Twin

Tennessee Twin are an acoustic duo from Cambridge, UK. Their songs, blending modern country, folk & Americana, are known for their lyrically honest and musically melodic songs that span the emotional spectrum, while their performances draw from a lifetime as live musicians.

Following their debut release in 2018 they quickly gained international recognition and the admiration of British audiences, their original songs bringing a fresh, dynamic and powerful sound.

In 2022 the duo released the CD EP ‘Lost Years’, a compilation of their single releases of the previous two years plus a special live recording of the previously unreleased song ‘It’s Not A Game.’

‘When We Move’, their 2021 single featuring Sarah Jory on pedal steel, was praised for its song-writing quality, performance and production. Linda Conway (Voice Of A Woman) said ‘This song is stunning and that pedal steel mixed with the harmonies, what a song!! The vocals were so beautiful too - it's a best of 2021 contender!!!’

Their debut EP ‘Tips in A Jar’ (August 2019) went straight into the iTunes UK Country Chart at No.1. In the words of Gaz Williams of ‘Building Our Own Nashville’ - ‘It showcases the kind of storytelling prowess that has already earned Tennessee Twin international acclaim.’

Before ‘Tips In A Jar’, their original song 'Wings of Red, White and Blue' won the Nashville Music City / British Airways song-writing competition in 2018, taking them to record in Nashville, Tennessee.

Other single releases include: ‘Rewind’ (2021), ‘Every Story’ (2020) and ‘Two Heart Rendezvous’ (2019), all receiving universal praise and gaining airplay around the world.

They are currently working on a new album due for release in spring in 2023.

Geoff & Victoria have a busy gigging and recording schedule. Past performances include the prestigious British Country Music Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Country on the Coast & Nashville Calling. They’ve also appeared overseas including dates in Nashville, Denver, and Amsterdam.
