Taynee founded her 5 piece band which quickly took shape in Bristol in late 2018 recording her debut EP 'If Only' in January 2019. On release day her first single ‘Blue Jeans’ was featured on BBC Radio Bristol and ever since she has been a rising force amidst the burgeoning British Country Music Scene with her transmitting connection to the roots of Americana.
In early 2020 Taynee recorded new music at producer Gareth Young’s Cube Recording Studios in Turo, Cornwall. With her single ‘No God Of Mine’ charting at Number 1 in the iTunes U.K. country music Charts & soaring to over 30,000 streams on Spotify. Resulting in Taynee and her band getting the honour to perform for Glastonbury Festival Founder Michael Eavis at The Pilton Stage.
2021 saw new music releases and her corresponding music videos shown on Sky TV’s Fresh Country Show alongside Taynee Lord making her debut appearance at Buckle & Boots Country Music Festival in Manchester, U.K.
Her music has been played on BBC Introducing in the South & in the West and the band were honoured to be featured as BBC Upload's Live In Session Band of the Week in May 2022. The band has also captured the attention of many radio stations in the USA & around the world. In 2022 Taynee’s music was successful at The Simply Country Radio awards, winning Best Song of the Year with her single “Love Moves like a Train’ and was also honoured to take home The People’s Choice Award.
Last year included Taynee and her band supporting Scouting for Girls at multiple festivals around the UK. They headlined the 2022’s Glastonbury Calling Festival and also headlined The Bristol International Balloon Festival amongst many other festival appearances including Foodies Festival, The Godney Gathering, Outfield Festival & more...
With the release of Taynee’s new 2023 single ‘Love Hard’ which has been featured by BBC Introducing and already loved by radio stations worldwide, Taynee has an exciting future ahead with upcoming new music releases & high calibre festival appearances for 2023.
