Peaks & Valleys

Peaks & Valleys is a three-piece band based in Edinburgh. Our repertoire consists primarily of original material, but also includes covers of songs that inspire us.

We're often asked what genre our music is. Our sound could be considered experimental, as we enjoy blending genres - a natural byproduct of our diverse musical backgrounds. Our songs have consistently folky undertones, but we also draw influence from classical, metal, punk rock, indie, jazz, and, at times, what can only be described as a 'gypsy-ish' vibe. We love finding inspiration from a variety of places and infusing it into our songwriting in unexpected ways.

Although together since 2020, we are still relatively new, having formed during the UK lockdown. We really only began to perform in Autumn 2021. That being said, we've written over an album's worth of original music and aim to get it recorded professionally in 2022 & beyond.
