Idle Noise are an indie rock quartet from Coventry. The band take influence from a range of artists including The Enemy, The Strokes, and Circa Waves. With infectious hooks, stomping choruses and huge stage presence, their performances capture the audience of every show they play. The last few years have seen them play alongside the likes of The Charlatans and The Wombats with 2 consecutive main stage slots at Coventry’s Godiva Festival, as well as a range of other shows and artists across the UK. More recently, they supported Coventry’s own Tom Clarke (The Enemy) at a sold-out hometown show in December 2019, followed by the band’s own sold-out headline show at Manchester’s iconic Deaf Institute in January 2020. Since forming, every track the foursome has released has been aired on BBC Introducing radio, with most of them also receiving regular airplay on Amazing Radio. Their last 5 singles have been frequently featured on pre match and half-time playlists at Championship Football clubs, including Coventry City and Luton Town. Idle Noise made a return to live performances in July 2021 with a sold-out hometown headline show before embarking on other dates in promotion of their latest singles ‘Death to Modern Life’ and ‘All Your Love’, the former being immediately added to Spotify’s ‘New Noise’ editorial playlist in the USA upon release. They are currently recording new music to release throughout 2022, followed by a number of live dates to promote the year’s singles.
