Erica Jean is a smiley singer/songwriter influenced by Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy and Lily Allen. Her energetic and clumsy persona transfers onstage and into her songs like her single“Chipped Pink Fingernails”. She spreads her glittery music around the UK at festivals, music venues, charity events and busking. Performing in venues like 02 Academy Birmingham and The Troxy London, she has worked with high quality teams.
As well as this she has supported artists like Grammy award winning Amy Wadge, Irish sensation LYRA and Australia's Aodhan. Erica recently performed with Tom Odell in his latest releases Black Friday and The End. Erica has been featured on radios such as BBC 5 Live and Future Hits Radio.
Taking Erica Jean’s individuality and fun persona, combined with drums, bass and saxophone, they create a positive energy which is sure to make you smile and dance along.
Erica has also appeared in multiple high profile films and TV like BBC Sister Boniface, and Rom Com Jingle Bell Heist.
After being trained in radio production with the BBC, she assists the Broadcast Team, as well as appearing as a guest host on Radio Brockley in London.
Being trained in Musical Theatre, Erica has performed in Birmingham Rep in public shows with leading roles as well as dancing in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. Her training at the Commonwealth Games to be their Mascot also transferred to work with BBC Children in Need's Pudsey Bear.
Erica is currently studying Music Production, Songwriting, Performance and Buisness at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.
