Daydream Runaways

Daydream Runaways are 4 pop culture obsessives from the UK's South West, who came together to create nostalgic indie rock. Formed in 2019, their debut EP 'Dreamlands' earned them radio play from BBC Introducing & Swindon 105.5FM & support in the press from RGM Magazine. The band played numerous headline shows throughout 2020 with standout sets at DOCA Festival and Live at Longleat. 
 Daydream Runaways’ sound blends familiar rock & pop tropes and adds a splash of uplifting indie, with their live sets sprinkling in some bonafide floor-filler covers. As far as their influences go, they range from the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Eagles & The Smiths to modern bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Bloc Party and Imagine Dragons. With a high interest in pop culture, they're also inspired by their love of video games, lego, comic books and films such as Fortnite, Back To The Future and Star Wars. 
 With their debut EP ‘DREAMLANDS’ showcased on BBC Introducing In The West, the band stated their claim in the indie rock sphere. With the foundations set, the only place this band is going, is UP!
