The Routine

The Routine emerged in late 2019 with a catalogue of edgy alternative songs, blending punk rock with post-grunge. The band has since released an EP entitled 'Under The Circumstances’, numerous singles, and in 2024, their highly anticipated debut album 'Casualty', showcasing the band's versatile and dynamic sound.  

In 2024, The Routine embarked on a UK tour in support of their debut album, including sold-out shows in Manchester, Newcastle, and London and a slot at Strawberry Fair on the central Portland Stage. 

The band’s live performances are about creating a raucous rock and roll show filled with catchy choruses and a diverse set list that will have you humming Routine riffs all the way home. Frontman Liam Palmer captivates the crowd with explosive vocals that have been compared to the likes of Dave Grohl, Roger Daltrey and Steven Tyler.

The band has been consistenly nominated in the 'Best Indie' category at the NMG Awards in Cambridgeshire, receiving regular critical acclaim and as such, have solidified their place in the Cambridgeshire music scene. In 2026, The Routine is set to release new music and continue touring throughout the UK, further cementing its status as one of the most exciting and promising bands on the scene today.
